grape juice A small study published in the British Journal of Nutrition (2009 Dec 23:1-5; [Epub ahead of print]), indicated that Concord grape juice may help improve memory impairment in the elderly. The double-blind study involved 12 elderly subjects who received either a placebo or grape juice over a period of 12 weeks. The group receiving the grape juice had significant improvement in verbal learning and non-significant improvement in verbal and spatial recall.
