Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 heads Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 Vidalia onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 4 limes
  • 1 cup salsa

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. Add garlic and chili powder while browning.
  2. Drain the fat once the beef is fully cooked.
  3. In a large bowl, prepare the salad with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and avocado.
  4. Add the ground beef and toss.
  5. Top with cilantro and lime juice.
  6. Serve with salsa on the side for individual portions.
