Ingredients

  • 2 lbs tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder (click to use homemade for best results)
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine all ingredients.
  2. Heat over medium flame and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  4. Allow sauce to cool, then transfer to a tightly covered container.
  5. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
