This creamy avocado dip blends garlic, cilantro, lime, and Paleo mayonnaise with cayenne and cumin for a zesty, Crohn’s-friendly flavor. Perfect with Paleo crackers or fresh veggie sticks.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 4 medium cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 5 tbsp Paleo-friendly mayonnaise (do not use commercial mayonnaise — see recipe)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Peel and press the garlic through a garlic press.
  2. Place avocado, cilantro, mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, cayenne, and cumin in a food processor. If you like it extra spicy, add one jalapeno.
  3. Add the garlic. Process until smooth.
  4. Serve with Paleo crackers or fresh vegetable sticks.
