Ingredients

  • 32 oz. sauerkraut (refrigerated, not canned)
  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, pureed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Place the chopped cabbage in boiling water.
  2. Rinse and drain the sauerkraut, then add it to the pot with the cabbage. Boil until the cabbage is tender.
  3. Drain.
  4. Sauté the onion in olive oil until tender, then add to cabbage.
  5. Mix in the pureed tomatoes and serve hot.
